"Pharaoh's Bath":  One of the most famous springs is Hammamat Phara'oun, located in the southern part of Ras Sidr about 45 kilometers from the main town. It consists of two parts, including the Kahf Phara'oun, or "Pharaoh's Cave", and the springs themselves. The cave extends about 25 meters into the mountain, while the sulfuric water springs which line the seashore produce significant quantities of water with temperatures as high as 75 (167 Fahrenheit). This water is said to have properties which are effective in the treatment of bone and skin diseases. Other sites include: Hathour temple, and Serabit El Khadim.
